Richard A. Brealey

Richard A. Brealey is a British economist and author. He was formerly a special adviser to the Governor of the Bank of England and Visiting Professor of Finance and the Tokai Bank Professor of Finance at the London Business School.[1]

Biography

Dr. Brealey was a full-time faculty member of the London Business School from 1968-1998. For a number of year he previously held the posts of Director of the American Finance Association and President of the European Finance Association; he is also an elected Honorary Fellow of the Society of Investment Analysts.[2] He is also the former director of The Brattle Group, Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada UK Holdings plc, and Tokai Derivative Products Ltd.

He is a member of the editorial boards of the Journal of Applied Corporate Finance, Journal of Empirical Finance, and European Finance Review.[1]

He was educated at Exeter College, Oxford.[2]
